ADHD Coaching is a collaborative partnership between the client and the coach. Together, we explore how and where ADHD shows up in your life. In a safe, non-judgmental environment, you will learn how your brain is uniquely wired and how you can use it to get you where you want to be.
You have all the answers you need inside of you. But after years of trying to live in a world structured for non-ADHD brains, you may not trust your instincts or believe in your ability. Through questioning and curiosity, we will bring out those answers and create a plan for you to create the change you want.
Everyone has strengths which are natural to them and when used, magic can happen. We explore those strengths and see how they can be used to your advantage. You've also had successes in the past, so we will often go back to them and figure out how those experiences can help you out today. Even though we will often look to past experiences for lessons learned, we will always be looking forward for change. Coaching is all about moving you forward.
I know that years of living undiagnosed can bring with it a lot of baggage. Like, a lot of baggage. Isn't it time you start unpacking and setting up the life you want to live? The life that works with your brain and not against it. Let's talk and discover how coaching can help you set up the life you want to live!
Working with an Executive Function coach can help you dig into your brain and learn how and why you do what you do. Having an ADHD brain can be an incredibly frustrating, but it's not going to play along if you ask it to be a neuro-typical brain. Getting to know how your brain operates can be life changing. You gain understanding and, hopefully, self-compassion. A lot of the "why can't I just...." questions are answered by understanding our brain's Executive Functions.
Together, we will walk through the different executive functions and discover how they are performing in your daily life. Through that exploration, you will learn the "why" and with that knowledge, you can change "how" you show up. How you show up can include showing up with self-confidence and understanding, knowing that you may approach things differently, but you are fully capable just the way you are.
