Deirdre has changed our lives! Getting organized has been a challenge for my business, Kids U, for years. A few years back, we hired Deirdre to come and make sense of the work flow and storage areas. The difference was night and day. Years later I can get an accurate inventory count in 30 mins. In contrast to the several hours we used to take, and I was never confident it was accurate.
Based on the success of her design at Kids U, we hired Deirdre to help with a much bigger problem. Our daughters bedroom. Every week we paid someone to make it possible to walk into her room and 2 days later everything she owned would be spread out wall-to-wall, making safe passage, to her bed, impossible. We purchased several different storage solutions for this mess. None of them worked. Every week we faced the same dangers, think small sharp plastic toys that stab the soles of your feet in the dark.
​Finally we hired Deirdre and she spoke to Charlotte at length about how she played and what she needed to make her playtime awesome. After a one hour conversation, Deirdre had revealed that our daughter needed to see all her toys at once, and then she would choose the pieces that she wanted to play with. All the money we spent on storage was wasted on containers that hid the toys. Therefore her first line of play was to dump them all out. I had the pleasure of working with Deirdre on a few different projects in my home.  Having someone come into your home to help organize it can be a little scary, but with Deirdre there was no judgement, just lots of advice!  I gave Happy Place Organizing as a present to my mother-in-law and she loved how her kitchen turned out and was especially thrilled to have the support to throw out 6 bags of old stuff.  It's hard to explain how cleansing it is to get the junk out and have your home truly organized, but all I can say is THANK YOU Deirdre and Happy Place! - Paula Hegyi
